We all wanna be Felix. We all wanna have our picture taken with Felix. We all want to remix Felix. Mexico City's NSM PSM bring 100% agave to their re-working of Felix's tribute to his boyhood hero. It's the coolest shade of purple this track has seen so far.
We LOVE this live mixtape from Johnny Love of Guns 'N' Bombs so much we couldn't wait for the podcast to be ready before posting. The podcast version will be up as soon as the iamarobot3000 crew returns from Viva Las Vegas with our favorite Norwegian space disco DJ Ralph Myerz.

Danny Ladytron dropped this bomb on my desktop when I asked him to IM that rare Darren Emerson remix of "Seventeen." It's 17-year old Harlem girl Miss Bank$ rapping over Ladytron. Her rhymes are sic! The Fader has blogged her and 77Klash signed her to his Klash City label. We want more.
Ladytron are set to tour North America in April with The Faint...but before that Danny and Reuben will be in LA to work up some tracks for Miss Aguilera - a huge Ladytron fan. Here's the new vid.
Been waiting for an electronic music artist to release a DJ app for the iPhone and of course it's Deadmau5 who pulls it off. Paid my $2.99 for the download and having fun.

LA-based producer RevoLucian's amusing remix of Christian Bale's now legendary freak out hit over one million views on YouTube. The track is fun to listen to even without the visuals. Lucian is currently producing RuPaul's new album.
Mr & Mrs Cameron dj set at M.U.L.T.I.S.E.X.I. in Studio 80, Amsterdam on October 4th 2008 - "Panic On The Dancefloor!"
If the term "polymath" is ever used to describe music artists then Karin and Richard Cameron are certainly candidates. Not only are Mr & Mrs Cameron DJ-ing in clubs around the world and recording their own album for release in 2009, they also produce soundtracks for fashion shows, soundscapes for art exhibits, create art themselves and run a record label/production company Drive-in.
Richard is also one-half of Cowgum with Dutch DJ/promoter Joost van Bellem, one-half of the "easy tunes" duo Arling & Cameron, one-half of the spaced-out rock act Fluffy Target, as well as the composer of a few film soundtracks with Gerry Arling.

Their MySpace tag line - "2 guys who just happened to look a like..." - mocks the obvious question they got when they first made their entrance onto the LA club scene. Now the unrelated Mike Melody and Spencer Trent have delivered their first remix (with the help of their bud Asaa) of "Shuddup & Cry" by that hottie with skills, DJ Loli. It's brilliance leaves no doubt they are destined to have to answer "the question" many more times in clubs when DJ-ing around the world.
Already they've been hit up to remix Circuit Freq and have earned a DJ gig at the weekly Jump Up party at Medusa Lounge in Silver Lake Los Angeles on Feb 21. Julien-K DJS are headlining.
The Souldrop production team of Evan Brenna and DJ Teddy Touch are bringing the urban street cred to Norway with their remixes of Lil Wayne, Lloyd, Clipse, Timbuktu and Sky Hy.
Say Hooo! is the brilliant Holger Beier. Now living, curating, designing, recording, producing and DJ-ing from Florianopolis, the hippest beach in Brasil. Look for the release of his productions of D.F.'s Mexican Institute of Sound and Brasilian native Pat C in 09. Holger was formerly based in Berlin and co-owner of the influential Bungalow label as well as one-half of DJ team and recording artist Le Hamond Inferno.

LA LA's semi-secretive analog-maschine duo, Circuit Freq, team up with Orange County's Deth Hertz on "No Headphones." It's the third digital single release on Beatport from the Circuit Freak'ers, and the debut artist release for Deth Hertz, the duo whose DJ nom de guerre are "A Virgin Tear" and "A Special Guest TBA."
The bundle features a global set of remixers - Z-Listers, Pablo Decoder and Joe And Will Ask? - all from the UK - the Norwegian space disco of Ralph Myerz -- and "more cowbell" from Mexico's NSM PSM.
Spawn of Orgy, synth-rockers, Julien-K, release another single, "Someday Soon," on January 6in advance of the March launch of their much-anticipated debut album Death To Analog. Motor deconstructs and warps "Someday Soon" with their trademark techno spazm while also offering up alternative electro mixes with their V2 version and V2 dub. Meanwhile, longtime Julien-K collaborator, 'Fu,' takes it hypnotic and searches for the elusive Higgs boson with his "Darkmatter Remix" and "Dub" to round out Circuit Freq Records fifth release.
"Someday Soon" is an exclusive release on Beatport and is already in the Top 20 on the digital retailer's electronic chart.
