NSM PSM "Clap Your Brains Off " - Mexican droste music video

This video uses a mathematical formula used by M.C. Escher, in some of his work known as the "Droste Effect." This is my first video clip as a Director, and it was made entirely using a Digital Reflex Camera, the Canon's Mark III, which captures up to 115 continuous pictures at 10 fps.

As this was a really low budget video, it was made possible only thanks to the help of lots and lots of friends. This is the result of almost 6 months of work.

NSM PSM - Clap Your Brains Off (Say Hooo! remix)

Kay of NSM PSM just dropped this rocked out remix of his track "Clap Your Brains Off" onto my desktop. Remix is by our friend in Florianopolis, Brasil - SAY HOOO! - aka Holger Beier of the Berlin-based Bungalaw label and one-half of DJ team and recording artist Le Hamond Inferno.

The New York Times called Florianopolis (Floripa to the locals) "The hippest year round beach scene in South America." I asked Holger to send some photos. Let's hope he obliges.

If you want some more of Mexico City's NSM PSM hit their MySpace page as they've posted some bad-ass mashups - their calling these their RED TRACKS.
