Obi Blanche again- thanks to a new fidget remix that is fucking ace. Can’t get enough of this track and the New Judas/ Obi sounds.

“I get, I get, I get, I get. Down!” Zero Cash can do no wrong.

5. CIRCUIT FREQ – BLACK CHROME [NEW REMIXES]: CD-R
New mixes from Vandal, Electrixx, Charlie Fanclub, and Metalzone (1/2 of Acid Jacks). A serious fucking remix package.

Alcohol, drugs, neon-lights, etc…“Can you feel it?” Rave is king.

7. DJ KUE – LOVERS BREAK: CD-R
Got this as a bootleg. Not sure about an official release. A step away from his usual sound, but the production is stellar as always.

8. BITROK – DIGITAL RHYTHM [DOPAMINE REMIX]: TITLE FIGHT
The vox sample is sooo 2004- but in a good way. Full support for Title Fight.

9. AUTOKRATZ – STAY THE SAME [ALEX GOPHER REMIXES]: KITSUNE
Hard to edge out the original, but Gopher is God, so this is gonna get some play. Fucking serious summer anthem.

10. UNDERWORLD – RING ROAD [KRIS MENACE REMIX]: DIFFERENT
This should probably be higher on the chart. A HUGE track, but no big surprise. So, it’s #10.

Cowgum - "Druggggssszzz"

It's pretty fitting that my favorite new drug song comes from my favorite drug city- Amsterdam. But A-dam doesn't make this schit by itself. So the two coolest fuckers from Holland (sorry to Mirik, the goat herder- you're #3) had to get together and form Cowgum. Cowgum is .5 Richard Cameron (Mr. and Mrs. Cameron, Arling & Cameron, and the super-righteous Fluffy Target) and .5 my main man Joost van Bellen (seriously the coolest motherfucker I know-- a legend). My first Cowgum exposure "Filthy and Raw" has never (not ever) left the record bag, and "Druggggssszzz" is gonna be fixture as well. Crazy Dutch sex-pot WANNABEASTAR sings the vocal hooks ("I need a big hit!"). Remixing is Brazilian electro scener Edu K, and he gives it a proper Crookers twinge. Sic. Cowgum - Drugggssszzz feat. NSM PSM - Clap Your Brains Off (Say Hooo! remix)

Kay of NSM PSM just dropped this rocked out remix of his track "Clap Your Brains Off" onto my desktop. Remix is by our friend in Florianopolis, Brasil - SAY HOOO! - aka Holger Beier of the Berlin-based Bungalaw label and one-half of DJ team and recording artist Le Hamond Inferno.

The New York Times called Florianopolis (Floripa to the locals) "The hippest year round beach scene in South America." I asked Holger to send some photos. Let's hope he obliges.

So... I've been keeping this one to myself for a little while... But I've heard Erol has blogged it, so it's best we post it now. It's a mash-up, I guess-- although when the mix goes above and beyond the originals, that label doesn't seem right. Mash-up, re-edit, whatever, it's proper HOSTAGE rave shit melded w/ Digitalism's POGO and it's sultry as fuck. Big fucking high-5s to DJ KRASSY on this edit.
